findrows() function revisited.

As a part of a project undertaken to study flows of some perennial streams in Sri Lanka,
a particular stream, located far away from Colombo, was selected and a Rating Table (RT) was
prepared relating water levels to flows. This process took a few years so that the
data would almost cover reasonable range of depths for practical reasons, excluding severe floods.

During this period, an electronic device was also constructed to measure water levels (WL) and
transmit as digital signals to control station in Colombo.
However, the numerical values of transmitted WL had more than 6 decimals,
whereas the Rating Table (RT) was calibrated only to 2 decimals. Hence, initially WL values
had to be refined to 2 decimals for use with RT values.
Earlier a vlookup function which was posted in the forum was used, but it took a long time to process

But when the findrows function was available, data processing was dramatically fast.
Both Excel and SM files must be in the same folder.

Cheers
