IMHO, in this case the EXCEL solution is "cleaner".

EXCEL shines when you need to process simple formulae applicable to many rows of data... Which we do have in this case.

The problem is not to insist to expand symbolic. If you were scared of that one,
you have seen nothing compared to > 12 pages wide expansion. Before expanding,
hover Unknown(F) and see if it is of any profitable use.

Multiple software to do this. Pipe-flo, AFT Fathom, and others come to mind. If memory serves, the hydraulic institute and a limited node software to do this too.

With that said, I still like to do things on SMath/MathCAD to verify results, since I can "see" the math.

Can't be more right than checking the maths for documenting the project(s).
Elsid, as a byside question: is your Mathcad 15 working ?
My Google web site is still active "mathengjmg". I can see it all, but
since PTC deactivated [scrapped] Mathcad 11 Single User Edition, if I
download any of the 663 work sheets [100MB], none will open.
Would you be kind enough to download some work seets and let me know
if they open in your Mathcad 15 ?

Thanks, Jean
