Makes me wonder if summation (and other) error(s) for the result of stack is a bug that needs to be resolved Actually nevermind, this seems to be resolved in the latest build: P.S.: love the new square [] brackets for matricies Edited by user 31 March 2016 17:14:34(UTC)

... I can see some "improvement" ? in your latest Smath. The old style is valid too, more flexible ? to be checked

Pun intended ? Did not get this. Also it is not "my Smath" by any stretch - all is Andrey's hard work. Anyway I did not get your post - just my slow mind I guess.

Unlike "augment" that is a conclusive operation, "stack" is not a conclusive operation. Unless "List is vectorised", as defined it is NOT a vector even if it displays as vector. "List is a scalar vector". So, it won't sum. The module V(List) creates "List" as a vector, then suited for sum. In the definition u:=1..5 ,,,, u is anything and nothng unless ASSIGNED active [per say valued]. That's why the error message "Must be a vector" . "Must be a vector" whether by the vectorising operator or by user creation.
