In my plant 20 pumps require flush water which is supplied by a close circuit water flow network. Flush rate & max temperature rise are per vendor specifications. Hot purge & simultaneous volume makeup by fresh water is what maintains the temperature.

I am attaching my solution to the problem. I further need to have multiple plots (on same graph) which corresponds to different temperature rises indicated by equation defining Tc. Please advice

I am waiting for a heat exchanger (with temperature loop) which will take x3 months. In the meantime I want to use make up water for temperature control by hot bleeding. Bleeded stream will not be wasted & goes to Cooling Tower makeup ...

Jean, can we use solve() command somehow?

Better wait the heat exchanger c/w control loop.
Detail: most likely the control algorithm will be Lead/Lag.
Your document is red. I will revisit.
In my native SS 6179, if CoolProp is used in another document
it can be called from another document ... a damned bug.
Cheers ... Jean.

No luck, your document is red with 1 page long error message.
You are trying to plot something, tabulate the data set.
From there, no problem to fit/solve.
Cheers ... Jean.

Revisit the heat exchanger LMTD.

Mr. Jean thanks for your input but we will be using Plate & Frame heat exchnagers which design is very differnt from tubular exchangers.

Now I have x2 matrices (ranges) changing TB (5 values) which plot a curve at changing TC (3 values) ...so we have x3 curves. Can you change attached file to my requirement

Sorry Collab, your document is red in native SS 6179.
My understanding follows.
Cheers ... Jean.

Jean, because CoolProp addin is not installed (I am also using secant() from nonlinear addin) thats why its throwing error. Check the pdf. Any recommendations from your side

Nice PDF ... can you make it an Smath document for checking.
CoolProp is an old vintage. Mike helped a lot, as well Alvaro.
I don't use ... rather WASP from Mathcad 11 coded Smath.
By same token, Katmar WASP is freeware for 5 minutes per use.
Once you have your [°C ... kJ/kg] data, you can resume the project.
Most interesting ,,, Cheers ... Jean.

Jean, Thnaks for your plot() function. Here is the .sm file. Being a chemical engineer I cannot let go of CoolProp bcz besides water I have to deal with many gases like N2, air, Cl2, CO2 ...so its vital for me. Additionally, I have seen here that Prode Properties is being used as an Smath addin I will certainly try to make it work bcz I have already integrated it in Excel

For convenience, I have added bilinear interpolation.
