Hi,

I have found that in versions 0.92 and 0.93 there is a problem with specifying units for an answer.

In 0.91 it would simply show that there was a syntax error by borering the specific block RED.

The error is when multiple units are combined to for other units for example torque
(Nm) or acceleration (m/s^2). If one of the fieldsis left blank then 0.92 and 0.93 crash.

in 0.91

Code:
1*'N*1*'m=#@'N*

in 0.93

Code:
1*'N*1*'m=#@'N*
1*'N*'m=#@#*#
I know this seems like a small problem, but it causes me huge pain when do long calculations and lots of work is lost due to a typo!

It appears that a # may not be generateing in the code to indicate a no value entity.

Thanks for the help

Hello,

I did not understand quite well, sorry - but I think I can reproduce the crash.
See the picture please:

When you just type in the rightmost placeholder (used for changing units), say *N and press enter, the crash occurred. This is a typo, but should not be causing a crash.

Radovan

Thanks Radovan,

Sorry for the bad explanation (trying to get the hang of this forum), but you have repreduced what i have a problem with exactly.

It is not major, just annoying as explained.

Regards,

Bamo
