Hello, I want to solve a quartic polynomial with complex coefficients.. I tried "polyroots" function but it gives an error "cannot calculate",, Is there a plugin or a function that can solve a polynomial with complex coefficients in SMath? Thanks in advance Edited by user 19 November 2023 03:24:23(UTC)

Thanks in advance If you have the complex quartic complex vector, the way to plot is via Lagrange Iterated Product. From there, your quartic is now a function in native Smath. You can find roots and more solving demands. Cheers ... Jean.

You can use maple() too. Maple has a fsolve() function. Which uses floating-point arithmetic.
