Hi,

I want to aks if I can make somethink like drop-down list. I want to read data (sectional characteristics) from table (matrix) according to name of the profile (e.g.: IPE 100). I have table and I read data (via vlookup(value, table, column)), but I have to write exact title as a parametr, I want something like drop-down list where can I choose profil from list.

It's already available; if you are using the latest Nightly build, go to the online gallery and download the Combobox Region plugin.

After the download a new item will appear in the Insert menu.

There is not a drop-down list, but you can choose the option by a left-click of the mouse. Input matrix must be selected with the context menu item (right-click over the the object, values > name_of_an_existing_matrix); in the placeholder the output variable.

Here some screenshots.

Thanks, it works, but it is possible to modify this plugin to make drop-down list? Because if I have a really long list is a little uncomfortable to click through the whole list.

I don't know, I think yes, but this is a question for the developper... As you can see is not embedded with the program, I suppose because is not yet completed.
