Remember that i isn't unfortunately like other variables, and it is reserved for the imaginary unit (In mathcad it is 1i or 1j, much better than the SMath convention). Probably the problem is related with this, because you can see the same behavior with the infinity symbol (Ctrl-z). Best regards. Alvaro.
