Hi, guys: I'm a new one to SMath. and have a question on system of equations. here is a simple question how to get the result of x, y without using the matrix? I tried solve and findroot, but can't get the value of x, y. Thank you for the help Happy New Year!

(more than one unknowns) You can use roots(), FindRoot() or al_nleqsolve(). Here is your equation solved in various ways. Matrix style is more commonly encountered in Engineering projects. That add-on will enrich your future projects.

Excellent reply! FindRoot is better for my condition, I need units. Thanks Overlord!
