Hello SMATH Forum, I recently came across a set of MathCad sheets, which I am attempting to extract a small sample; rectified waveform and ripple. As I am trying to reconstruct in SMath, early on, I cannot resolve a few definitions; functions "rect1(...)" and "g1hw(...). I'm hoping someone can help. Attached is my SMath sheet and the reference MathCad15 files. Pulses and Waveforms work in progress.sm (680kb) downloaded 17 time(s). Pulses and Waveforms.pdf (947kb) downloaded 15 time(s). Pulses And Waveforms.zip (2,442kb) downloaded 10 time(s).I welcome your review and look forward to your reply. Sincerely, Norm

... added numerical convolution. From brushing the *.PDF "pulse" has no limit. Show some you need for concluding a project. Page5 Norm.sm (27kb) downloaded 15 time(s).

Hi Norm. Some few notes: - For speed up the code, you must to put at some places some eval() in SMath. - Some vectorization are automatics in Mathcad, but not in SMath. Here you can use the index nk instead implicit or explicit vectorization, as shows the picture. - N0.gc is 2^8, and it is for use as the finite index for fast Fourier sums, but it's too big for SMath. Use something lower. - T.hw is undefined in you worksheet. Best regards. Alvaro.

Work in progress... I gave up on the MathCad "Pulses and Waveforms" conversion. The attached sheet is not complete, just my attempts at the graphs thus-far. I'll need to spend some time working in the diodes conduction range. Anyway, using the discharge profile looks close, not correct, but has a close resemblance. Best regards, Norm Single-phase full-wave bridge rectifier circuit with C-filter and resistive load.sm (339kb) downloaded 20 time(s).

This one is very useful as you mesh and range from the creation.. Superb to highlight segments.
