Hello!
I just startet to work with Smath and I like it. The program is quit simple, but I'm not able to change a wrong formula. The main problem is, that the number of brackets increases, the less I would like to have :-/
The second problem is, that I try to end the bracket after the first fraction and then start with a plus the next summand...but the more I click or delete, the brackets increase...
I have a screenshot, but I cant upload it..sorry!
But maybe you know how to modify the brackets?
Thanks a lot!

Hello,

First select the part of an expression inside the brackets (with the mouse or SHIFT+arrow key). For instance:
((((a+Cool)))
Select here only a+b and choose Cut (CTRL+X). You will have:
((((#))))
Then select the part of the expression including the brackets (left and right) you want to get rid of and choose Paste (CTRL+V)
(a+Cool

If you have some complicated expression, just cut and paste the parts of the expression into an empty place of the worksheet, delete what you do not need in the original expression and get the parts of the expresion back into the appropriate placeholders with cut and paste.

You are welcome Good ,

Btw, you can upload your screenshots on Wiki, if you like, and put the link on the files here.
Just read the Notes on Using the Forum
