"operator point" (name subscript) is often used feature - add help reference to - add shortcut to (for example, in "greek letters" widget, example picture attached) 2. While edit math expressions, "cursors, bkspace, delete, space, etc" editor keys works in unusual way in very standard situations. It is !very hard to edit math strings without explicit "editor manual", the manual must be included into program default installation (menu help).
