Dear all,
I have been working with Mathcad for years and now looking into SMath.
I figured out that I can install plugins by copying the dll in the /SMath Studio/plugins directory. Doing that I see functions appearing in the insert fucttion dialog.
I have a few questions:
- is there a place that I can find documentation on the plugins?
- I'd like to install the StatisticalTools plug-in by the online tool, however it says: plug-in(s) installation failed

Is there something that I'm doing wrong?

regards,
Joop

Plugins are installed using the extension manager (Tools> Plugins and then select the type of extension). Note that you have to switch to the online gallery in the upper right corner.

Yet it might be more convenient to use the portable pre-configured distribution (link in the signature). It comes with many plugins pre-installed.

Dear Mraska,

thanks, I believe I got it now. I removed the dll that I copied manually in the plug-ins directory and used the Extension Manager, which worked out now :-)

thanks,
Joop

Specifically about "stat", would be wise to explicit your work.
We have quite an extensive tool box in complement of little native Smath.

Dear Jean,

thanks for your reply. I'm just exploring Smath now and preparing myself for using it in the future. Statistics is a likely topic, can be on distributions, testing, combinatorial, six sigma type of calculations. I would be interested to explore the plugin you mention in your answer,

regards,
Joop

The document 'qqplot' is not a plugin, simply an Smath work sheet.
You are asking a lot ! We have more and less, enough for a bed time reading.
Cheers ... Jean

Dear Jean,

understood, still an interesting worksheet :-)

Just the plot does not show up, it states that there is an plugin missing. What plugin do I need to make that show up?

regards,

Joop

Click on the "Gallery" install all plugins.
Otherwise, expect Grand Doctors to help.
Cheers ... Jean
