Just want to verify that once you create a series of entries on the SMath screen...
Maybe...
- a line of text
- Followed by a formula
- Followed by a combination line of text with an inserted math expression or "formula"
- etc

That there no way to circle something or point to something with an arrow...
as one may do when creating an explanation of some mathmatical expression or
some articulated situation requiring a mathematical solution.

Sort of like one may do on a whitepaper document or on whiteboard during a presentation...

Correct?

If that is true then is the solution for a whitepaper document to...
- create the SMath entries...
- Then do a screen capture
- Then place the screen capture into a graphics program...
- And then add circles and/or arrows as needed to make the explanation more apparent to others...

Or for a recording of a whiteboard presentation to do a video recording of the SMath screen and use the mouse cursor with a voice over to add the extra emphasis to the parts of the displayed steps to the solution?

Thanks for any suggestions and comments.

For do that, for example in microsoft power point, you only need copy from SMath and then paste the clipboard directly into a new slide. I mean, you don't need nothing else, just Control-C in SMath and then Control-V in Power Point, or Word, Excel, or many others office tools. There you can add shapes with notes and those other things.

Viachelsalv (uni) recently post about video tutorials. You can see which software is use there, or ask the authors about them.

Finally, you can see this post, and try to use an older version which have teamwork feature:

https://en.smath.com/for...io-Teamwork-Session.aspx

(remember that you can have several versions in the same system putting a file "portable.version" with zero bytes lengh in the main SMath directory).

Best regards.
Alvaro.

Open the Forum, click Samples, start from the very beginning.
All those things are for productive Engineering/Scientific,
rather than papers over crowded of decorative gyzmas and
absent of Classroom maths.
