The PPC version of SMath has a set of function panels that allows the user to select variants of a function like sine, inverse-sine, hyperbolic-sine, and inverse-hyperbolic-sine by dragging up, down, left or right. The same feature applies to cosine, tangent, and others.

The Desktop version of SMath has a set of function panels, but they do not seem to allow the user to select variants of a function. The sine button seems to only allow the user to select the sine function. The same for cosine, tangent, and others.

Is there a way for the user to select a function variant, like inverse-sine, from the sine function on the panel in the Desktop version of SMath?

Thanks in advance.

Hello.

No, there is no way to choose the function you need by dragging the button and, actually, users of PC not expect to see such feature. This ability was uniquely designer for Handheld version only. On Desktop there is a keyboard, that can be used to write any function name in few moments, that's why buttons is so simple there.

Thank you for using SMath Studio.

Best regards, Andrey Ivashov.
