I am getting error "Result is above max allowed positive number". What does that mean and how to resolve it.

Attach the SMath file as well, please.

Hi Omorr,

Thanks for replying.

The file is for the project that I am doing for my organisation and I wont be able to distribute it online (company IP rules).

If you send me your email, I can send it to you as that way privacy can be maintained.

Cheers
Dharmit

Hello Dharmit,

I understand.

Just send me a private e-mail (the last line of any post) or directly to omorr@uns.ac.rs.

Before you send it to me, you could just try right click on the regions and choose Optimize|Numeric, or enclose the calculation in eval() - right hand side of the assignment ( := ). This will work most of the time if you just work strictly with the numerical values.

Regards,
Radovan

Hi Omorr,

When I right clicked on the region and selected Optimize, it was already selected to Numeric, so I didn't change anything there.

But your eval() worked like a charm.

Thanks for your help.
Dharmit

PS: How do I close this thread?

Nice to hear that Good ,

I marked this topic as solved.

Regards,
Radovan

EDIT: Unfortunately, I can not explain and I do not know why and when is this happening. This is some internal SMath problem and there is no other way except to use it in these kind of problems.
