regards, waluyo What I did was simply copying Courier New fonts from windows disc to my linux. Here all the Courier New files on my pc. The path for font files should be copied is /home/{USER}/.local/share/fonts/This has worked very well. At least how it is for me. Regards courier.zip (1,656kb) downloaded 51 time(s).

Hi Actually there is still another problem. In font selection, there are many unrecognized fonts as appeared below. Also the name of the fonts are also not in order, so difficult to search. Some fonts are shown doubled. Regards, Waluyo

You may have some system fonts missing or this is a locality issue. But hey, this is linux. When it works it works like a charm for years. When it is not, well.. you are on your own since every one has different setup. Digging forums and wiki-man pages for hours trying to find what is wrong. Digging forums and wiki-man pages for hours trying to find what is wrong. In a few short sentences, that perfectly captures the linux experience! Waluyo, I have the same issue as you on the garbled/unordered font list. It's not ideal, but SMath usability in linux has improved so drastically for me in the span of a week that I can't feel too bad about it. Glad Overlord's suggestion fixed you up.

Good job guys, very good job!. I did test the last stable release and the only problem that i am detecting is that the bold and italic option is not working/changing the text's style. But it is a minor issue just now to me. Regards.
