If you use writer region plugin, you can use Ctrl+Shift+B. You can install writer region by going to tool->Plugins->Clicking on Local Storage and choosing Online Gallery -> Scroll to Writer Region and double click to install.
I'm not sure if the built-in text region handles subscripts. |

I'm not sure if the built-in text region handles subscripts. I added it, but if I hit Ctrl+Shift+B, in the text region, nothing happens.

To add a writer region to your sheet use crtl+shift+w.
Then you can type as usual.
Note: If you right click on the writer region and choose settings, you get a microsoft word-like toolbar. |

Generally you will to increase the font size of the subscripted.

Are yall running the same version of SMath? Did it fail when they tried to install writer region or when they tried to add a writer region using ctrl+shift+w? |
