Hi just upgraded to 0.99 build 7005 and something significant has changed. In all previous versions, when I opened a file by double-clicking on the file name, then opened a second file the same way, the second file would open up in its own window. I could arrange them side by side. Now, the second file is automatically added as a new page instead of having its own window. How do I get back to the previous behavior? I use this a LOT.

Thanks!

I see now that the files can be viewed side by side within the SMath window, instead of as separate windows. That's good, but frankly I still prefer the previous behavior. I was able to switch between files, or relocate one by looking at the Windows menu bar. I presume this was done to better manage resources. Is there any chance the older behavior could be retained as well?

It is by design, to improve performances on average usage:

You can change it though, as written in the announcement:

Thank you Davide! I did not see that mention. You'll note I am a "newbie" (although have used it for a few years, not very much). Where do I find the settings.inf file on a Windows system? I searched for it in the Smath Studio folder and found none.

Welcome in the forum Good

The settings file is in %APPDATA%\SMath (you can paste it in the address bar of any window or type it in the start menu)

I should have known that but, well, I didn't. All fixed.

Thanks so much!
