Hi, the attached sheet defines a simple function Qout(Qin) based on if statements. The function works for single valves of Qin. However, I'd like to plot Qout(Qin) so I defined Qin as a range variable. The function doesn't work and gives me a type conversion error. I'm a newbie to smath, please can you advise what I'm doing wrong? I've been through the documentation and examples and can't find anything. pump station2.sm (10kb) downloaded 19 time(s).Edited by user 07 December 2018 02:07:05(UTC)

That's as far I understand the problem. It needs more fabrication. It should work in your latest Smath. If you have more interest, I can probably find a model function to the pump curve. As your are nwe in Smath Community: please, do not hesitate. Cheers ... Jean pump station2.sm (22kb) downloaded 43 time(s).
