New Beta SMath Studio 0.99.6877 is available!Tiny, but powerful mathematical program with WYSIWYG editor and complete units of measurements support. It provides numerous computing features and rich user interface translated into about 40 different languages. Application also contains integrated mathematical reference book. Changes introduced in current buildImprovements- Background dialog improved to show currently chosen image on dialog open.
Corrections- Application start failure under Mono runtime fixed;
- Fixed issues when Dynamic Assistance list does not show built-in items;
- Environment specific rendering issues of the Dynamic Assistance list fixed;
- Accuracy of work with complex numbers improved;
- Scrollbar bookmark related to current cursor location corrected to always show actual cursor position.
Miscellaneous- Added ability to make Header/Footer different for selected page (see Insert > Header and Footer menu);
- Rendering of Header/Footer during export to PDF and other formats fixed;
- Interface translations updated;
- Refactoring.

Sometimes I test new versions of Smath with my very old worksheet which keeps failing since 0.98.5973. This time it puzzled me again. Please see how it performs now. The SS prints the result of maple(expand(...)) normally, but after assigning the resulting expression to the variable nnn, it failed even to display nnn. What means "Not defined" if it has shown the correct result before?  example_5973.sm (11kb) downloaded 39 time(s).Edited by user 01 November 2018 03:29:59(UTC)

It means that can't recalculate because the use of sums and products. For force the recalculation as it is needed, can enclose the num definition by a line:  Best regards. Alvaro.
