Razonar,
How do you start from paragraph 1? preferably 0?

Thanks,
Basile
PS. Can this be extended to have an automatic Table of Contents, List of Figures, List of Tables, and List of Equations?

Hi Basile. You can start from any paragraph pointing the value of the variable '§, for example from paragraph six is: '§:mat(5,1,1)

Clipboard01.jpg

For paragraph 1 use zero as starting value.

Yes, I it's possible automate the TOC, but I don't know how to catch in the SMath document the page number, so, I can do that but manually adding it. Index at the end of the attached.

Automatic numbering sections book.sm (86kb) downloaded 50 time(s).

Best regards.

Alvaro.

Very nice Good

I guess you can add the code in a function to reduce the code repetition and call only that function on the region placeholder

If you like my plugins consider to support SMath Studio buying a plan; to offer me a coffee: paypal.me/dcprojects

You can display the index at the begin of the document if you assign it to an absolute variable at the end (those variables starting with a tilde ~)
On german keyboards, the tilde has to be copied from a text region as it is catched as a hotkey for boolean = in math regions).

BTW, why don't you use formatted labels?

Hi Martin. Thanks for the update about global variables. I don't use formated labels because I want only to show how get automatic numbering into several SMath documents with native SMath tools. Without any doubt with formated labels it will looks great.

Best regards
Alvaro
