Andrey,
Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you. Been busy with other things.
The Parent was not set immediately after the constructor but I trapped it in OnPaint and its set to a value.
Thanks. |

One thing I noted is that the user could cut and paste a control with no way for my program to capture that and rename the control to a unique name, which is needed by the program. Maybe next release. Hi, this work will be implemented in a future relase of smath? regards, w3b5urf3r Edited by user 09 January 2013 20:15:19(UTC)

TheWizEd,
I am looking at creating the same controls you indicated in this thread.
I am under the impression that you use Visual Basic to generate the controls? Yes? If so, could you walk me through the process you use to generate a button?
I downloaded an analyzed the code for a simple checkbox region and, despite not touching C++ in a while, I was able to modify the given code in C# to some degree (change color, change 'shape' of control). However, I would prefer not to reverse engineer if I don't need to.
Can you (or someone) create a 'control' development tutorial for Visual Studio?
