Kilowatt hour (kWh) in SMath Studio

I would like to use SMath Studio for calculations involving kilowatt-hour units, the standard unit of energy that electrical power is billed in, and by which power production systems are described. Trying to derive the unit yields numerically correct results, but the values are odd because they are express in strange units.
Is there a way to use the unit kWh in SMath Studio and have the page calculate correctly?

Not being an electrical engineer I can not attest to use of these units but, you can define your own units based on built-in units. For example I create units kWh by typing ' followed by kWh followed by : and then a mathematical equation combining built-in units. Remember to type single quote ' whenever you want to insert units. In the last line go to the end of the line where the J appears. A small blackened rectangle appears. Place the cursor at the end of the line and type ' and kWh. Open in SMath Cloud |

I was having trouble with this too, and got here via google.
kW and W are built-in units within SMath.
h is a built-in unit, but is the Planck constant.
hr is the built-in unit for hours.
for the kilowatt-hour, which is normally written as 'kWh', you'll need to use kW*hr in SMath.

You can create your own custom kWh unit. Copy and paste this to smath 'kWh:1*'kW*'hr. I wouldn't, but it can be done. Regards
