Hi,

I don't know if someone has seen this before but I'm having problems with SMathStudio showing assign/evaluate (:=,=) and math operators (+,-) as shown below:

smath_screenshot.jpg

does anyone have an idea of what is going on?

I'm using OpenSuse, SMathStudio (Windows version with wine, but it also happens with the Mono version as well), latest stable/beta versions. It happens with new worksheets and with loaded worksheets.

Best regards

This has worked very well. At least how it is for me.

courier.zip (1,656kb) downloaded 42 time(s).

May be a font issue.
Try to download courier new font and copy to proper location mentioned above.

Hi, I tried the courier font as well as other fonts and still it doesn't work.

Also, the program crashes if I try to change the font family:

I placed all font families in the folder mentioned before.

Best regards,

I still see wine symbol at titlebar of error message.
Please make sure you have installed mono package installed.
And could you please check your inbox?
I will try to continue to help you from there.

I have tried Smath with openSUSE_leap_15.4_live iso.
Seems everything is fine and working as it should be.
At first I tried with appimage I created. It is v0.99.7822 and it worked flawless.
Then I have installed mono-complete and downloaded latest v1.0.8206.
And there was no issue with it either, no problem with symbols or anything else.
Can't help you further from here without additional information.

Regards
