First attempt to fix the file. I have removed the force crash section. Next I am going to correct the crashing section. I think I can fix very most part of it. Regards FXsp_r0.sm (474kb) downloaded 7 time(s).

SMath files are sophisticated xml files actually. You can edit them with a text editor. The hash inside \[REGION[#####]]\ can differ, but pattern is always same. \[REGION[#######################]]\I usually search for this and remove its regions entirely. If fix works, then try to remove \[REGION[###]]\ individually. This mostly works to fix the files. If it doesn't, I remove <region **** </region> sections one by one. Or multiple of them at same time until file works again. Then re-add them to pinpoint which region makes crash. Most important, I always work on file copies to prevent more data loss. Regards

I even use linux and I could make an exe file. Try to Log-in to your account in SMath. (Login button is Up-Right of SMath window) This will activate pro mode while saving exe's. And uncheck compression option. This is what I did. Regards This zip file contains exe of your file: FXsp_r1.exe.gz (1,888kb) downloaded 6 time(s).

I tried your file with a windows 10 installed computer. It didn't made the executable file on that either. I have replaced writer plugin regions with embedded text regions. Now exe file can be created, but not visually as you desired I guess. And it creates some maple files in document directory when executed. Actually you don't need maple to solve that kind of functions you used. Embedded solve() or roots() enough for that, I have replaced it. So, there is a inconsistency with Linux and Windows versions. While using Writer Regions and making executable files, Windows version can't finish while Linux can. Interesting finding indeed. Regards FXsp_r2.sm (503kb) downloaded 7 time(s).
