A friend of mine requested me to check his hand written calculations of moment distribution
of a simple 2 storey building with 2 spans. Since I am not a professional structural engineer,
I had to recollect basics by referring some text books, and found a suitable example.
The exercise was completed in EXCEL, using substitute frame analysis method.

Then I thought why not try SMath Studio also, but could not find an example.
Attached is the outcome of my attempt. It is only a basic approach.
Cheers!

Moment Distribution Revisited.
A different method using a While Loop for any threshold value.
Sufficient explanatory notes added.

Cheers!
