To all,

I haven't used Smath much for several months, good to be back! But, as I returned to using the software, I have run into trouble.

I am trying to import data from a file. Specifically, from an Excel or csv file. I am having trouble getting it to work. When I use the importData function, I get an error saying that the file is empty.

but, in reality, the file does contain data.

What am I doing wrong, and what is the best way to import this data?

Hi, Good

I think the cause could be the "built-in default values" in arguments 2 (decimal symbol delimiter) and 4 (column delimiter) that seems not related to localization differences...

looking the example (smath.zip) in this previous post, if I change to 0 arguments 2 and 4 i could see an "empty stack" error...

EDIT: using your matrix as shown in your post, another error message should appear trying to load all 14 columns, because from 2nd rows last two arguments are missing

regards,
