Hi,

it seems that functions from Maxima plug-in used for equation systems (or at least LinSolve) can’t handle situations when variables have different units. For example there’s no issue if all variables are in kN but if some are in kN and some in kN*m then the results can’t be obtained („solve: unacceptable variable”). Is there a way to bypass this limitation apart from not using units in such cases ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I solved the problem. It wasn't a limitation, in fact SMath with Maxima plug-in can easily solve this type of equation systems. The issue was caused by the fact that I just forgot about one multiplication in the last term of a moment equation. So the term was (kN/m)*m = kN while it should be (kN/m)*m*m = kN*m because other terms (added to each other) are also in kN*m.
