Is it possible to enable a new operator "..." whose function is to allow dividing long expressions between several lines? like this: some_var := arg1 operator arg2 operador ... arg3 operador arg4 etc. x.1 := 2 + 3 + 4 ... + 5 + 6 x.1 = 20 Currently you can do something similar with the key combination ctrl + Enter but it is a bit limited I think this could be very useful, especially in the new document mode

Already available, use SHIFT+Enter in the position where you want to split the line

Was rarely used, just to recollect a long symbolic result. Not so much useful ... explain: the "..." is a keystroke, thus the split does not update. In lieu, the maple(op(,)), as applicable, is more convenient at no risk. It updates following the user command from upstream the project. As well, it updates the the result that you may have spooled to file. Visit Samples Beam Analysis few days ago. Jean

thanks fedeghi but... Yes, I know, but only one division of the line is allowed, but "..." in the form of an operator could be used as many times as you want on the same line currently if at the point you want to divide your expression is between parentheses "(" it won't work try with this: z:=(3+5-8*60-32) you can't thank Jean, very good about maple and collect operator "..." for this will be great!
