After minimizing Smath to the task bar with third party tools and reopen this Smath process again from the task bar I am able to edit the open document without issues. But as soon as I try to use "Format..." again on any x-y-plot, the freezing happens againg. So the usual format pop-up window does not appear at all.
Is this the right forum group for this issue? Or is it better to place it elsewhere? E. g. "SMath Studio Forum » SMath Studio » Bugs & Problems"
Thanks and regards In this case try to press [Alt]+[Space] for context menu and move hidden Format window. The component saves the coordinates and position of the settings window. When restoring a window, it may happen that the coordinates are outside the current desktop. |

Thank you Viacheslav, good to remember this for future occuring of this effect. Meanwhile it disappeared, because I re-installed the plugins. However it might be necessary to use:
- not only "Alt-Space" but also
- "Cursor down" and
- "Enter" and
- "Cursor left/right/up/down2
to catch and move this lost format windows back to the visible screen. There are also special third party "Window Hunter" tools, but I am not aware if they can hunt only windows applications or also all kind of pop-up-windows from these applications. Thank you and best Regards Rudolf

I tried it, but it didn't work. I opened %APPDATA% again, like this picture. I think is some problem about uuid.

The interactive "Getting started" guide has been updated. Many thanks for feedback and contributions by Ihor Rokach (Holy Cross Technical University in Kielce, Poland). Changes: - Polish translation - Minor corrections (typos) - Improved consistency of keyboard input instructions - Revised section on substitution function at(), now independent of Maxima (which users might not have installed) - some images now are language-specific (using text regions with embedded images) The version is marked as "beta" because it requires SMath Studio build 7251. You need to install some plug-ins. |
