Hi everybody,
I'm trying to use the Structural Beam Analysis plugin, but I've got some problems.
When I open the “Beam Analysis” example I've got the next problem.
Captura.PNG
The error says "Indice fuera de los limites de la matriz" (Index outside matrix boundaries)
Could somebody help me with that?
Thanks in advance

Do an AppVersion on the file Good
There has been a lot of work under the engine by the developers since this was issued. You'll need to update it and preferably, repost. I don't do a lot of beam calcs, so I have not touched this in a while.
NOTE: Opened fine in 7251

The original file showed Red while opening, but finally opened successfully in SS 7251.
Then saved as with a new name, which opens later without any such hassle.

The renamed file is attached, including the PDF. I did not do any changes.
Hope you will be able to open it. Also update relevant plug-ins.
Cheers!.

I confirm the problem highlighted by Eneko also on my pc with win7 Pro and SM SM "0.99.7251.32800".
The only dependency reported in the guide is the plugin "Structural Beam Analysis
Utility Functions by Redem Legaspi Jr." that is set up and active.

Page Beam Analysis Utility Functions exists but I see this plugin for the first time. If anybody find sources I can update them to work state.

Quote:
Analysis of Beam with any number of supports and with any type of loadings.

The worksheet requires that the associated Plugin (Structural Beam Analysis Utililty Functions by Redem Legaspi Jr.) be downloaded and enabled from SMath Studio Extension Manager tool.

The worksheet does the following:
1.) Plots Beam Diagram, Shear Diagram, Moment Diagram, Deflection
2.) Calculates Support Reactions
3.) Calculates Shear, Moment, and Deflection at any given point.

Refer to 'Beam Analysis Input Guide.sm' on how to use the plugin.

Hi uni and thank you very much for offering your help.. I'm going to try to find the sources you asked for, mailing Redem Legaspi. Any specific file or extension?

Hugs!

Redem Legaspi can ask Anrey how to upload sources to svn. After that we'll can maintain his project without author.

As far as I can see, the last update was made by Andrey. Maybe he has sources.

You're right, uni..

I've already contacted Redem and he suggested me also writing Andrey; Redem can't recover right now plugin sources.

I've mailed Andrey. I'll keep you informed.

Thanks a lot for helping!

Hello.

Sources of Beam Analysis Utility Functions stored on SMath server but author of a plug-in asked not to share them.
Several days ago I've got permissions to fix an issue.

Plug-in functionality restored now. Tested ok with all available sample worksheets.
New version of a plug-in available using Extensions Manager.

Best regards.

Dear Andrey,

I've just download the plugin and check the SMath sheet.

I've only performed few tests, but it's working perfectly.

Thank you so much for your help and effort. Really.

Best regards!

Zigor
