Capture.PNGI have a MathCAD sheet that I am trying to convert to be able to use in SMath. I have attached a few lines from the MathCAD sheet that I am having problems with. How can you achieve the same thing in SMath, since there isn't a local definition operator that I can find in SMath? Thanks!!

The local definition is <- is simply :=
You should be able to spline your matrix from there.

SplineRectangularMatrix.sm (87kb) downloaded 26 time(s).

Hi. SMath doesn't have the Mathcad column extractor as operator, but as function: you can use col(sigma.data,7-j). Also, notice that i=sqrt(-1) is SMath, this is, not 1i, like in mathcad.

Best regards.
Alvaro.
