I would like to ask about a function in excel. What İf
If you know , this function gives the variables for the desired results.
For example f(x)= y , input y and get x
Is there any similar function at smath?

This is inversing a function Excel "Target value" is more ancient than Excel. In fact, it comes from the co-founders of Excel TKsolver. For single value of 'y' you can use Smath solve(2), solve(4) ... Otherwise, if you want to InverseFunction it comes from Smath/Maple. Visit "Samples" for a huge Smath document that covers most possible ways of doing this most advanced piece of maths. This document is less than 3 weeks old.

if('condition','true','false' - Returns 'true'-statement if logical 'condition'-statement is true (non-zero), 'false'-statement otherwise. ADVICE: Choose it from the Programming palette The "if" programming tool returns a value depending on Boolean 'condition'. Boolean condition can be formed by using Boolean palette. OK but your link has nothing to do with the demand, i.e: solving 'x' for given 'y' in f(x) Has been answered/exemplified.
