Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Registered Joined: 20/03/2019(UTC) Posts: 73 Location: Mandeville, LA		I am trying to type this formula: De=1.3*[[(H*W)^0.625]/(H+W)^0.25] But SMath is refusing to put the parentheses in the correct places.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Registered Joined: 20/03/2019(UTC) Posts: 73 Location: Mandeville, LA		This is what SMath wants to type: D.e:1.3*{(H)*W^0.625}/{(H+W)^0.25}, and the answer is 15.98 but with the paranthises in the correct places the answer is 10.93. Does not want to multiple the top numbers together before taking the number to the 0.625 power. It wants to multiply the first number by the second number taken to the 0.625 power instead.

Try typing this directly. Note that -> signifies the right arrow on the keyboard. D.e:1.3*(H*W->->^0.625->/(H+W->->^0.25=

I Get 2 in a diagonal format. I can't figure out how to type [ in SMath. This will be very useful format for what I am doing.
