Request for new feature. Would like to see an angle operator to facilitate polar form of complex number entry similar to that Mathcad Prime provides. Would also like to see the addition of a polar form of math results display also similar to Mathcad Prime. While Mathcad Prime has a lot to complain about besides cost, polar input/output is a great feature that that I believe would also greatly benefit SMath Studio.

An operator is a good suggestion. I can see this being implemented. Could be done through a plugin also similar to parallel notation in electrical engineering library. I imagine it will be more difficult to show results in polar format. I'll leave that up to the Devs.

In the meantime, it's not too hard to create your own functions to perform polar/complex conversions. Please see attached. Also don't forget about built in pol2xy() and xy2pol() functions.

... more suggestion polar notation in there.
Can't understand why angular symbol Charmap does not paste
in Smath, yes it pastes but gyzma instead of angular.
The working symbol ے(x):= from non-Latin font.

Cheers ... Jean

Hi. In the attached, some others workarounds for the meantime, showing different issues: derived units aren't showed inside vectors nor systems, rounding problems, etc. ...

Best regards.

No big deal the angle operator is not on the palette.
Lots of things don't make sense in the arithmetic palette,
few more operators could be addedin replacement.
My point here is about the angle symbol ∠(x) Smath compatible.
