After installing library of additional functions (most of which are not in specific subcategories but in "all" ) finding them if you are not know exactly what you are looking, start to be an issue.
I suggest to add Search filed in function dialogue window.

Similar to that in Unit dialogue window. That one works perfect...

That would dramatically improve workflow.

You are not very clear about your suggestion. My understanding is like this:
Assume there is a search dialog about functions and the likes,
Click "search", ODEsolve [for example], then here is the list of 17 solvers
... click on "Rkadapt", bingo in the work sheet.
This is OK because they are strictly numerical solvers doing a single thing.
Next, assume you want to "solve, it would only give 'solve(,), solve(4,)
It will do lot of solving. But, solving is too generic about combination
of methods/techniques.

Smath is like any other CAS: a box of jelly beans.
They become productive by association with complementary tools,
which tools are constructed via programming. The best way to get
familiarized with Smath is visiting "Samples" ... a huge repository !

Thank you for your fast reaction Jean Giraud.

Nevertheless, My suggestion have nothing to do with familiarity.
It's all about practicability.

If you are looking something that is used rarely, you definitely would like to find it quickly instead scrolling all the way to it.

... you definitely recover/adapt from some existing Smath document.

Genfit Lorentz Peak Fit.sm (45kb) downloaded 27 time(s).

Jean Giraud, should I understand that posting a suggestion of possible improvement are not welcome?
You have right, there is a lot ways to go around. And this for sure not a major issue. Barely minor inconvenience.
But if I do not share my observation, an improvement will not see the light of day. Don't you agree that is possible, minor, but possible improvment?

That's not what what I'm saying. Search dialog box, Ok but search for what.

1. Laplace => nothing, all "Maple courtesy"
2. Fourier => nothing built-in Smathh, all Matlab Courtesy "mwXXX"
.......
search 'sin" ... Oh ! thanks for sin(x), sinh(x)
however pretty well grouped under 'Trig, Hyperbolic"
Read top to bottom the f(x) menu and suggests improving the "category".
Agreed: category "statistics" is missing ... all under "Matrices/Vectors".

Davide, I am impressed.
1) That is the fastest reaction over the improvement suggestion I ever witnessed.
2) Your input with Source bar is more then grate idea.

You are awesome!

In the search category, why not have the ODE solvers as well.
Almost the all Smath is under "Matrix", nothing ODE
Between you and me: what PDF, CDF ... have to do in Matrix ?
And so little under Statistics !!!

My understanding of your feature is that you wanted a profitable
reply from a search window, is it ?

Yes Jean. And Davide surpass my idea with his delivery.

Nevertheless, Now I see your point.
It would improve accessibility of those functions.

It is a pity that this functionality was not included in the latest desktop version of SMath Studio.

Agreed: ODE solvers category would be nice ... Fourier ... General solvers ...
On the other hand, that will take time but unfortunately => living is not 0 $
Of all those courtesy codes, for instance ODE solvers, by collecting in a
category, could it be considered illegal reverse Engineering ?

Cheers ... Jean
