I have been trying to display the numbers in equations for a while now. After experimenting with the table extension, I think I have discovered a method. It is far from clean, and requires some manual input, and therefore is not feasible for one-off documents. Yet, when reusing recurring documents that will be checked by others, this might useful. Theres plenty to improve. For example, a function returning the defined content of an equation, without variable substitutions would really help. *See updated file in last post* Edited by user 20 April 2018 06:44:53(UTC)
| Reason: Updated example with a better substitute function

No, Jean, that is not what I am attempting. The formated label combines values and does not work with units, similiar to symbolic mode. Since you often refer to mathcad, this function is similiar to the matchad explicit function. Here is an updated version, now working with more equations File: example.sm (36kb) downloaded 63 time(s).

Amazing how much was done Mathcad 11 and earlier w/o "explicit", done otherwise and none of the Mathcad/Mathsoft gurus ever needed. On the other hand, the Smath kernel format is exportable, c/w the parameters. This option was encountered and necessary. Interesting.

Yes, of course it is not necessary. Yet, it is sometimes useful. With respect to the exportable kernel format and your image - I apologize for my lack of knowledge, but I do not understand what you mean.

Two examples attached. Sweden.sm (29kb) downloaded 58 time(s). Thiele Procedure QUICK Simplify_Collect Copy.sm (78kb) downloaded 49 time(s).
