Hello Stephen,
I do not understand your question. Could you be more specific please?

I think like this
a:=2 a=2 b:=3 b=3 c:=a+b c=5
d:=a+c d=7

Hello,
Do not forget that you do not need to put these regions in that particular order. In SMath this is quite possible:
d←a+c c←a+b a←2 b←3 d=7 c=5 a←10 b←15 c=25 d=35
