If you protect a region with a password, and this region is closed , to save the "sm " executable ( " .exe" ) Smath Viewer Pro file is not recognized as a Windows executable .

and if you save it as " exe " file Smath Viewer free , the file is saved correctly and is recognized by windows , but there is no way that within the executable , you can open the protected region.

Best Regards

Carlos

Thank you! I see the problem is related in some way with the separator as first region (title modified). There is a conflict between the separator title and the collapsed encrypted area.

Bug added in the BTS (SV-2373), I'll investigate code-side ASAP.

Hello Davide:

The 0.98 build 6089 Smath Studio new version solves the problem for Smath Viewer Free , but not for the PRO version.

One question: Is it possible that you can open a protected region inside of Smath Viewer ?

Thank you.

Best Regards

Carlos

If the encrypted region is not collapsed, everything should works as expected; if it is collapsed, you can't see values generated from inside this area (currently listed as bug SV-2374)
