Smath forum is dead, Oh ! WHY ? When I open the forum, always see the same old categories, that's for visitors, but users need a day to day "Using Smath" ... Forum needs a new 'Category' for works done by members, particularly work from Mathcad that Smath digests. i.e: I suggest a new category "Smath Usage" like we had in the Mathsoft Collaboratory [~ 125 000 replies in 10 years read up to 2000 per post in two days, that makes millions benefits]. NO CAS [Computer Algebra System] is free of bugs or work around. Bugs appears from using, that will be particularly true for Smath, but we must have that day to day visitors/producers/users. That is essential in Engineering works, for efficiency. The greatest stuff from Mathcad 11 and earlier, was from collabs. Good thing PTC missed most of it if not all ! Here are 3 Smath work sheets that may help former Mathcad 11 users. Hope WebMaster reads this post and agrees. jmgiraud@bell.net

This worksheet is great stuff on two counts: 1. Extracting a specific contour level from a surface matrix that we generate from a function for demo, or that you can import from file from an Engineering surface. 2. It shows how to recursively run Smath program. CONTR(M,e,cntr) => single recursive Sym[f(x,y),U,V] => double recursive

I don't know if a new category is needed but as for now I think that the " Samples" section of the forum ( Representing ways of using SMath Studio) is much more appropriate than this ( Features announcements) that should be used just by developpers. |

Thanks Davide,
Plug stuff in "Samples", the best place to share specific collection(s).
